• We all start somewhere!?

In the begining the thought of starting my own company seemed absurd. While pregnant the idea for my company came to light. I had seen baby planners and we have all watched Rosie Pope in “Pregnant in Heels“, but no where had I seen an all in one resource for mommies & mommas-to-be. I began working on my business plan when I was only 12 weeks along,  as things progressed all the planning and prepping for my own child helped me learn how I could best serve expecting families. Lot’s of planning an work was rewarded on Christmas Morning 2010 with my beautiful baby girl.  It was 2:00 am I was lying next to her, thinking could I do this I mean really could I have a newborn baby and run a company.  Suddenly I flashed back  to memories of myself sitting alone in a windowed room with 10 newborn babies resting soundly around me in there rolling plexi cribs. If I could conquer a hospital nursery. I could do this. As if raising four children wasn’t validation enough I needed something to provide a guarantee, that I was on the right path. I prayed about it.  I woke up the next morning, with a clear answer. It was time to take the leap decide was I going back to my old job, would I be a career mom and only see my baby and children for a few waining hours in the evenings and weekends. Or would I do the impossible and start my own company and create a job on my own terms. Yes I thought I will. The next thing I knew I was at the county office getting my dba. The rest as they say is history…

I’m nicknaming you The Baby Whisperer! How on earth did you get evneoyre to smile and giggle and show their true colors all at once?!? Anytime I ever try to take a picture of one kid, they never cooperate so well! It must have been your natural talent (and the promise of ice cream after the shoot)!
